Monthly Archives: June 2012

A few short months ago I took Lynnae’s maternity photos. Well early last Monday morning, she finally had her baby girl! Her name is Mary Louise Yvette Foggaito (or Lulu for short). Lynnae asked me to come to their home on Friday and take pictures of Lulu because she wanted me to capture that newborn phase that as all you parents know, flies by so quickly. Lula is absolutely adorable and I have to say, she is the calmest newborn I have ever taken photos with. She didn’t make a fuss once. Even when we kept changing her into different outfits and placing her in all different kids of positions. Her mommy Lynnae and Daddy Matt are complete naturals when it comes to being parents if you ask me. It was so nice to spend a few hours with them and photograph this special time in all of their lives. Can’t wait t take more pictures of Lulu throughout the years!

These 2 photos melted my heart. You can just see the Love they have for Lulu.

The last weekend of May was Erica and Tommy’s wedding, which kicked off my busy summer season. They had they’re beautiful ceremony at the historic Mount Hermon in the Santa Cruz mountains. I went to Mount Hermon a lot with my family while growing up and I have always loved this camp. I was so excited when Erica and Tommy told me they were going to have their ceremony at the Memorial Chapel in Mount Hermon. It was a beautiful day to get married and Tommy and Erica’s love and genuine sweetness towards each other made the wedding and the photos that much more fun to photograph. It was truly a pleasure to work with them. Enjoy!

Kari was one of the lucky brides from the January Get Married Modesto Bridal show to win a free Engagement Session. She has been eagerly waited till the weather was nice and warm till she called me again to schedule her engagement session. She told me that she wanted to go somewhere fun, bright, and was close to the beach and I knew exactly where we should go. So a few Sundays ago, I met up with Kari and Sam at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and took their engagement photos. Both Kari and Sam’s personality were just as bright and fun as the colors on the boardwalk buildings and we all had a blast. It’s pretty awesome that I get to not only meet and work with people like Kari and Sam, but also that i get to ride carnival rides while doing so. How many people can say they do that for a living:)? Here are the results of our bright, sunny session! Enjoy!

One things I love about the wedding industry is all of the cool vendors I meet and work with. One of the vendors that I absolutely adore is Armour Sans Anguish. They create the most amazing designs and in the last couple of years they started making bridesmaid and wedding dresses. Tawny is the amazing designer behind Armour Sans Anguish and I am absoutely honored to not only know her, but to call her my friend. We have done lots of shoots together over the past couple of years. Here are some of projects we did together last summer:

ASA Summer collection 2011

ASA Native American collection Summer 2011

ASA India inspired collection Spring 2011

It’s been so wonderful seeing Tawny go from making dresses in her living room by herself to now having a beautiful studio in Oakland working with her lovely assistants Morgan,Lily, and Emily. I visited her lovely new workspace yesterday and it was just like what I imagined. Amongst the warehouses off Market street in Oakland there is a magical sunbathed room full of Armour Sans Anguish designs hanging on racks. It’s such a beautiful spot and perfect for Tawny and her team. They are currently hard at work filling all the orders that have been pouring in.But they were kind enough to let me stop by and hang out, while they worked away.
