I could tell as soon as I talked to Jesslyn and her parents over the phone last spring I was going to enjoy shooting her wedding day. She was so sweet over the phone and I could tell she was putting a lot of effort into the details of her big day. I was so so happy when I finally got to meet her and Tyler in person during the summer for their engagement session. They had this natural cuteness that just radiated from each of them when they were together. As Jesslyn kept telling me details about the wedding, I got more and more excited. Finally the day came and I was not disappointed. All of Jesslyn and her family’s work hard work paid off and all the details were so beautiful. Not to mention she had one of the most unique dresses I’ve ever seen because it had POCKETS! How cool is that?! Her and Tyler were so relaxed and just happy to be together and that just made my job so easy and so much more fun! Anyways, here are some of my favorite shots of the day. Enjoy!

A couple years ago while watching the Travel Channel I discovered the famous Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo. It looked like to me what Las Vegas hotels looked like back in the 1960’s-1970’s. If you don’t know already, each room is themed differently. They have an Jungle themed room, A Caveman themed room, a Royal Austrian room, and many others (110 different to be exact). Anyways, it came to my mind again last month and I thought, “Hey! I wanna do a shoot there!” So I called up my friend Lynnae who does hair and makeup and I texted my modeling muse Sundai Love (former contestant from America’s Next Top Model). We started planning right away and soon it was time to shoot. There were so many rooms to choose from but we picked the “Tall and Short” room. It was pink from floor to ceiling and went perfectly with our theme, Since the hotel had a 60’s vibe we decided to go in that direction with the fashion, but with a modern twist. We also shot some pieces by 1AM by Antonia Marguerite. Since we had the room for 24 hours, after shooting Sundai, we decided to do a shoot with Lynnae as well as Ariella, another model who came along. We had a blast and got some great we finally decided to go! Enjoy!

After the fashion shoots were over, we found we still had about an hour before checkout so we decided to have some fun!

I don’t know about you, but I LOVE snow! I always have. So, when Amanda came to me and asked if it would be OK if we went up to the Kyle’s parent’s cabin in the snow to take their engagement photos, I without hesitation said yes! I have wanted to do a session in the snow for as long as I can remember so I was beyond excited to get away from the valley for the day and travel up to where the air is fresh and the ground is covered in fresh snow! Needless to say we all had a blast during our session. A HUGE storm came through the night before and covered the ground in fresh powder which made for the awesome pictures, as you’ll see below. Not to mention Kyle and Amanda were absolutely adorable together. Enjoy!
