I emailed Katie back and forth during the summer about shooting her wedding in November 2011 and was so excited when she decided to book with me. I could tell in the emails how enthusiastic and happy she was to be planning her wedding since she was eagerly working on all the details for the wedding. We finally met in person in October (she lives in Denver, CO) and I she was even more enthusiastic and happy in person! She put together a lot of unique details and tweaked some of the usual traditions seen at other weddings and made it her own for her and Ben’s big day. I really couldn’t wait to photograph all of them. Almost all the details were handmade by her and her bridesmaids. All of those details paired at the beautiful Whitemore Mansion was a perfect match. All the hard work paid off and the ceremony and reception looked absolutely stunning. Both Katie and Ben (along with all their wedding party and families) were such a fun laid back group and it allowed for some awesome photos. Great Job Katie and Ben! Congrats you guys!
