Get Married Modesto Bridal show and a trip to SoCal

I had the privilege of being part of the one of the best Bridal shows in the valley a few weeks ago: The Get Married Modesto Bridal show. This year, it was at Double Tree in downtown Modesto, and to put it lightly, it was PACKED.

The line looked like this for two hours. (I would know, I was right behind the check in table and got the full force of the incoming brides.) It was a little nerve racking at 1st, but before long, we had a hang of it

Here is what the Brides saw when they walked up to my booth. I worked many an hour adding some new parts to my booth and perfecting it, but it paid off! I got so many compliments on my booth and met so many awesome brides at the show.

The week after the show I got a text from Miss Courtney Davies (former Top Model contestant and actress). She asked me to take some updated headshots for her to take auditions. Since the show was over, I figured, why not? I’ve been meaning to go back to good ol Southern California. So I decided to make it a 24 hour trip down south with my new assistant Tanya! Did I mention I have a new assistant? Well I do, here is a picture of my wonderful helper:

She worked very hard along side of me the week before the Bridal show helping me make all the details.

Anyways, we drove down very very early on Friday morning (3am to be exact) and shot with Courtney on a beautiful Friday morning. Here are the results!

Don’t worry, we didn’t just drive down there to shoot and then just got up and left. We stopped by Universal Studios and Pinks Hot Dogs before leaving good ol So Cal. It was a very fun spur of the moment trip and I plan on doing that more this year!
