It seems impossible to me, but almost 1 year ago I was shooting Dave and Kristen’s wedding at the McHenry Mansion on a beautiful Saturday in May. I know that the last year has been a blur, but realizing this totally made me realize how busy I’ve been and how fast the weeks have flown by. Dave and Kristen’s was one of my most memorable weddings from 2011 because of their love of laughter and their love for each other. Since I was going to be in San Diego last weekend, Kristen messaged me and asked if I’d do a session with them to celebrate their 1 year anniversary at their home in Mission Bay. I of course said YES! They wanted to shoot at their home because Kristen and Dave met at this house and they have lived there together since they got married. It’s a beautiful little beach house that is literally 30 feet from the beach (basically the perfect house in my opinion). Not to mention they just got a new puppy named Dexter. All these things combined with their love of laughter and each other made for the perfect session.
